A sheet of paper.
A little curiosity.
You can start with plain computer paper. A printer is optional. Keep the folding guide open, take one action at a time, and pause whenever you need.
- 01 · GET READY
Make a little space.
Find ordinary US Letter or computer paper (8.5 × 11 inches), a flat surface, and room for your hands. Our animated First Flick lesson uses Letter proportions. A4 has its own printable file.
- 02 · WATCH & MATCH
Move one edge at a time.
Watch the paper hands, pause, and match the edge on your sheet. Replay as often as you like. Turn the model around when you need another view. Your place is saved in this browser.
- 03 · FLY BY NUMBERS
Want the lines on your paper?
Choose your paper size and print only page 1 at 100% or Actual size, single-sided. Dotted lines show where to fold, not where to cut. The optional guide belongs on a separate sheet.
Check the printer settings → - 04 · TRY & LEARN
Your first throw is a starting point.
Choose a clear space at ground level, away from people, animals, and breakable things. Start with a gentle, level throw. Watch what happens, change one thing, and try three more throws.

Got stuck? That is part of making.
Go back one action, compare the edges, and try again. If a step still does not make sense, tell us the step and paper size so we can improve the guide.
